We are an independent club of around 200 local people who share a common interest in walking for pleasure in the Sussex countryside.

With Coronavirus / Covid-19 restrictions currently lifted, we have resumed our regular programme of walks. Please refer to our walks page for further details.

1931 - 2021, 90 years of walking: This year we are celebrating our 90th anniversary of walking, as the club was formed in 1931. Each month through to October we are including a walk from a previous decade which we are re-walking on the same day and date in the month as the original walk. You will see these walks with a highlighted blue sub-title on our walks page.

We usually have an all-day circular walk, typically of 9 - 11 miles, every Sunday all year round and shorter half day walks on most summer Saturdays and some winter Saturdays.
